A sometimes overlooked asset to a building’s design and décor, proper signage is an unsung hero to the overall experience of visiting and navigating a facility. Effective signage does a simple but incredibly important job—it communicates. It welcomes us, helps us get oriented and find our way, gives us the information we need, and enhances our overall experience.

Signage needs to be functional and straightforward, but it can go beyond the practical and serve as an attractive visual reinforcement of an organization’s mission.
