Anthology Senior Living of King of Prussia

For Anthology Senior Living of King of Prussia, ARCH collaborated with architecture and design firm, Perkins Eastman, to execute their vision on this urban, high-rise residence. Located in a mixed-use neighborhood outside of Philadelphia, this upscale senior living community caters to residents looking to enjoy high-end amenities. Simplistic yet intriguing abstract art with neutral tones combined with dimensional pieces accentuates the modern interior to create a cohesive feel throughout the community. Metallic finishes, geometric shapes, and modern fixtures emphasize the luxurious atmosphere of the residence.

In the family room, lightly antiqued silver leaf shadow boxes are positioned on either side of the bookshelf under strategically placed lighting to highlight each piece. Overlapping, torched iron discs with hand-painted accents offer a fascinating display. Another family room features shadow boxes with floating bronze and gold metal squares which shimmer and reflect the interior lighting. In one of the dining areas, a dimensional art collage and float-framed canvas art hang adjacent to the floor-to-ceiling windows where residents enjoy the high-rise views of the surrounding area. Modern mirrors hang above the tables and chairs in another dining space, complementing the elongated light fixtures.

An interactive Scrabble board livens the game room and also serves as wall décor. Residents can enjoy a game of life-size wall Scrabble, keep score on the chalkboard, and engage in conversation with their friends in this exciting entertainment area. A Philadelphia Eagles jersey framed in a shadow box proudly symbolizes the iconic local football team. At the entrance to the theater, a gallery wall features a collection of framed vintage album covers. The nostalgic display incorporates popular Philadelphia musicians, including Patti LaBelle, Billie Holiday, and Ethel Waters. The room also features classic black and white canvas prints depicting famous actors from the 1950s and ‘60s.

The captivating, modern interior blends sophistication, elegance, and glamour, resulting in a luxury experience for residents.

We’d like to extend our appreciation to Matt Dula Photography for providing many of the images used in this portfolio.
