Seabrook by Erickson Senior Living

The artwork at Seabrook Senior Living celebrates the coastal charm of the New Jersey shoreline through nautical themes and local imagery. The art program connects the multi-building campus through cohesive design elements, reflecting the region’s unique characteristics while improving navigation and wayfinding. The extensive collection features local photography, acoustic artwork, sculptural elements, and directional and decorative signage solutions.

Erickson Senior Living is enhancing the dining experience for residents by integrating acoustic artwork into dining areas across their communities. Sound-absorbing acoustic art panels reduce excess noise, offering a quieter, more comfortable setting that is particularly beneficial for residents who use hearing aids. This functional artwork solution allows residents to focus on mingling and chatting with friends rather than the clatter of dishware or other audible distractions often amplified by hearing devices.

Framed and canvas pieces featuring lighthouses, harbors, and seabirds serve as focal points throughout the community. Many images highlight local landmarks, including the New Jersey State House and the George Washington Bridge. Vibrant goldfinches, blooming violets—New Jersey’s state bird and flower—and other locally relevant imagery may inspire residents to share personal anecdotes and build connections with neighbors.

Seabrook Senior Living features a thoughtfully curated art program that combines local themes, familiar imagery, and acoustic artwork to improve the resident experience. The project also includes decorative signage and over 1,000 directional, informational, and regulatory signs to ensure hassle-free navigation throughout the community.
