The artwork program at Safety National Headquarters creates a welcoming and professional environment that inspires productivity, nurtures employee connections, and celebrates community pride. The campus spans two office buildings and showcases a blend of local photography, abstract art prints, and a suspended sculpture. In addition, ARCH developed a custom signage program that integrates Safety National’s brand while ensuring a consistent and cohesive design across all sign types.
Visitors enter the main lobby and are greeted by a backlit dimensional logo sign at the reception desk. Suspended overhead is a commissioned aerial sculpture from artist Rachel Hayes that incorporates the company’s signature green with an array of complementary colors. The piece interacts with the natural light from the large windows, casting soft reflections and adding a sense of movement to the space.
The project highlights works by local artists and photographers, such as Marilynne Bradley, Larry Emerson, Mark Hurd, Greg Kluempers, Caren Libby, Scott Rackers, Burton Remis, Steve Stuller, and more. Images of popular destinations and landmarks appear throughout the campus, strengthening the connection between people and place.
The campus includes more than 1,200 directional, informational, and regulatory signs to offer a safe and navigable space for employees and visitors. Multi-purpose rooms feature identification signage with interchangeable labels, allowing the facility to adapt to the dynamic nature of the workplace.
By thoughtfully integrating art and signage, Safety National Headquarters enhances aesthetics and the employee experience. The artwork promotes creativity, camaraderie, and connection, while cohesive signage ensures a safe, navigable workplace. These elements create a welcoming atmosphere where employees thrive and take pride in their surroundings.
